things I believe

1.  Don’t Discriminate. These rights belong to everybody, whatever our differences.  Each of us is a unique creation by God. I believe that in the eyes of God we are all equally good and beautiful in spite of differences in color, status and nationality. That’s why all of us do not have the rights to judge a person or to simply discriminate him/her just because he/she differs from us. We must learn how to respect  and treat everyone fairly.  It is one of the most important for me , because it reminds me of how God loves us for he sees everyone of us beautiful  and good.

Based on my experience, When we went to Mall of Asia and enter a boutique there nobody entertain us and they don’t even ask if we need something . Unlike when a foreigner enter the store , the sales lady begin to smile and politely entertain him  .  The foreigner just left the store without buying anything , The sales lady was shocked when one of my friend buy an expensive dress , Maybe because we are wearing simple clothes she thinks that we cannot afford to buy any single item in their store.  This is one form of discrimination , just because we are not wearing decent clothes the sales lady did not treat as the same thing as she treat the foreigner.

2. We’re Always Innocent Till Proven Guilty. Nobody should be blamed for doing something until it is proven. When people say we did a bad thing we have the right to show it is not true.  It is one of the most important human rights because nowadays, people are judgmental, they always blame you in a case that is not related to you . Tha’ts why this human rights fit for us for us to depend ourselves with their accusation.

On my own personal experience, I have a friend and also my classmate when I was in high school, She was being accused in stealing my classmates cell phone . I believe that she can’t do that.  In fact,  she can afford to buy many cell phones because she came from a rich and well-known family in our Barangay.  Our teacher decided not to conclude that she is the one who steal the cell phone rather my teacher chose  to inspect our things to search for evidences ,  and suddenly something fell from her pocket and it is the cell phone of my classmate . Because of that evidence the case of the missing cell phone was resolved.  Truly looks can be very deceiving, but with the help of these right  you can prove to others if you are innocent or guilty.

3.  We Are All Born Free & Equal. We are all born free. We all have our own thoughts and ideas. We should all be treated in the same way. For me, this is one of the most important human rights because everyone can relate to it . I believe that God create us fairly , That’s why everyone of us has the freedom to do what they think is right especially when expressing their thoughts and ideas.  Being free also requires us to be responsible in making choices and decisions that can affect our life.  For me, aside from life,  freedom is the most special gift that our heavenly father gave to his children because he wants us to be free to choose what we want . As a return , we must learn to respect the decisions of other and let them enjoy their privilege to be free. Based on my experience , when we were young my mother allow us to choose the church that we want to attend  even she is a catholic.. For her , Freedom is priceless and needs to be treasured. images (4)
