Proposed Baranggay Ordinance

Section 1. Title. This ordinance shall be known and called as ‘AN ORDINANCE INSTITUTIONALIZING THE use of Baranggay Campaign boards for election campaign materials in Baranggay Sampaloc IV Dasmariñas Cavite and imposing penalty for violation thereof.

Section 2. Scope This Ordinance covers all area covered by Baranggay Sampaloc IV Dasmariñas Cavite

Section 3. Definition of terms

For the purpose of this ordinance the following terms shall mean and be understood to be hereunder indicated;

Campaign Boards- refer to the boards produced by the baranggay to different public areas of Baranggay Sampaloc IV Dasmariñas Cavite

Election CAmpaign Materials- materials including posters and banners that are used for election campaign.

Public Places- refer to any and all property (1) intended for public use, such as but not limited to roads, sidewalks, bridges, banks and other similar character; (2) and are designated places of the baranggay each zone.

Section 4.Objectives

To keep  Baranggay Sampaloc IV Dasmariñas Cavite in having a clean and healthy environment

To educate the people in maintenance of cleanliness

Section 5. General provision

Section 6.Budget

The baranggay shall use the amount of One Hundred Thousand Pesos 100,000.00PHP for the purpose of building the said campaign boards.

Section 7. Penalty/ Reward clause

Any violation of this ordinance, shall, upon conviction, be punished by the imposition of the fine of Three Hundred Pesos (PHP 5,000.00) for every violation or imprisonment of One (1) week.

A reward system shall be implemented wherein one-half of the fine shall be allowed to the person who first filed a complaint against any person who violated this ordinance

All baranggay elected officials  are hereby deputized to help in the implementation of this ordinance within areas of responsibility in close coordination with the Philippine National Police and other concerned offices of the BAranggay.

Section8. Separability Clause

In case any of the provision of this Ordinance shall be declared unconstitutional by the court of competent jurisdiction, those provision which are not affected thereby shal remain effective and enforceable.

Section 9.Effectivity

This ordinance shall take effect upon its publication
